Directions for use: Apply at least twice daily, however, up to 10 times daily applications ensures rapid removal of lesion. Before each application apply antiseptic gel to the lesion to be treated. Wash with water, and dry thoroughly. This procedure ensures removal of dead cells. Apply an adequate layer to the affected areas only. Cover with a simple dressing such as a papertape (micropore) NEVER ALLOW LESION TO DRY OUT! In most cases redness and swelling will be observed during treatment. Tingling, or some pain may be experienced for 15 to 30 minutes or longer after each application. This is a normal reaction. When swelling in the affected area subsides and normal cells have completely replaced the cancer cells the treatment should be discontinued. The redness will disappear gradually. Treatment should be continued for 7 to 10 days depending on the size and type of skin lesion and on the individuals sensitivity. On occasion it may prove necessary to exceed this period. If in doubt, it is better to treat the area for a longer period than not long enough in order to avoid a recurrence. Treat until the area where the lesion was has regrown with new normal tissue. Limitation of Treatment Area: The total area of skin being treated with CuradermBEC5 at any one time should not exceed 25 sq.cm (approx. 5 x 5cm). Larger areas should be treated a section at a time.Tolerance: CuradermBEC5 is well tolerated. The healthy skin surrounding the area being treated may occasionally become reddened due to the salicylic acid. But soon resumes its normal color on cessation of treatment. Some pain may be experienced due to the salicylic acid contain, but this is only transient.Contraindications: Do not apply to melanomas, moles or highly pigmented lesions. If you are unsure of the nature of the area affected, consult your health professional.Precautions: Treatment of areas around the eyes and lips should be done with extreme care.
